Applicatiens  are  invited  from  the  eligible  candidates  alongwith  tworecent identical  passport size photographs on the  prescribed proforma  attached  as Annexure-'A'     till  25.03.2022    05:00    P.M  for filling  up 10 posts of Chowkidar on contract basis for Judicial Court Complex, Tarn Taran at the rates fixed by the DeputyCommissioner, Tarn Taran for the financial year 2022-23.

 

5.   All  the  candidates  must  bring  their  photo  identity   proof  and  their testimonials,  in original,  at the time of interview/test.   No T.A./D.A. will be paid to the candidates appearing for rest/Interview.

6. Number  of  above said  posts can  be increased  or  decreased  by this office without giving any prior intimation  to the candidates. 

7.In   case  of  cancellation/postponement        of  interview    for   the   aforesaid post,  due to  administrative    reasons,  this  Office  will not be responsible.

8. Merely satisfying  the eligibility  criteria  does not entitle  a candidate to be selected. This Office reserves the right to alter/modify  or change any of the terms and conditions including selection criteria etc. spelt out in the advertisement.

9.  Use  of  face  mask  for  all  the  candidates  is  mandatory.   Only  the candidates, wearing face mask, will be allowed for interview/test.

10. Every  candidate  shall  maintain  adequate  and  safe  physical  distance and avoid over crowding at tne time of test/interview.

Online applications  are invited from  Indian Nationals possessing  the essential  eligibility  Qualification given below for direct recruitment  to the following post of Junior Engineer (Trainee) Civil against category-wise vacancies  under  Uttar Pradesh  Power  Corporation  Ltd. (UPPCL)  and its DISCOMS,  TRANSCO  as detailed below. Submission of application through any other mode is not acceptable:-

Candidates  availing the facility of reservation  under horizontal category {Ex-Service  Men (EXSM), Physically   Handicapped   (PH)}   should   also   clearly   mention   the  category   he/she   belongs.   Under  any circumstances,  change  of data will not be allowed after successful  submission of Application  Form. However, submitted  application  form  can  be  viewed  and  downloaded/printed.   If  at  any  stage  it  is  found  that  the information furnished in the online application form is false/fake/misinterpreted/incorrect   or does not satisfy the Essential Eligibility criteria for the post applied, the candidature  is liable to be cancelled,  even after appearing in the Examination, in addition to any other action as may be deemed fit.

3-  Pay  Scale:    As  per  7th   Pay  commission  {Pay  Matrix  level-7;  Rs. 44,900/-    (minimum  level  in  revised  pay matrix)}. Dearness and other allowances  admissible as per rules of UPPCL.

4-  Essential  Eligibility   Qualification:
(A) The candidate  must produce a certificate from the head of the institution from which he passed out or from a gazette  officer  In Uttar Pradesh that he can read and write  Hindi in the  Devnagri Script with ease, provided that such certificate will not be necessary  in the case of a candidate who passed the High  School  or  an  equivalent  examination  with  Hindi  or who  has  obtained  a  degree,  diploma  or certificate of any hindi examination from an Institution recognized by State Government.

(B) A caqdidate must have passed :-

i)   "Three years  Diploma  examination  in Civil Engineering  awarded  by the Pravidhik  Shiksha  Parishad, Uttar Pradesh or a Diploma, equivalent thereto, recognized by the State Government."
Note:  Diploma  received  through   Distance  learning   Education   will  not be eligible.

5-  (A) Age:   Candidate  must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 40  years as on 01.01.2022.

(B) Relaxation  in upper  age limit:
(I) Apprenticeship  training  under Apprenticeship  Act, 1961- Actual period, subject to maximum 24 months. (II) "SC & OBC (NCL)" of Uttar Pradesh domicile- 5 years.
(III) Ex-Servicemen  who had served a minimum of 5 years in Armed  Forces of India-(Completed  service years+ Three years)- Maximum 15 years.
(IV) Physically Handicapped  (OA/AUPB/PD   only)-  15 years.
However, maximum age of a candidate availing all relaxations shall not exceed 5     ears. 

6-   Reservation:
(I)   Reservation will be provided as per applicable  Reservation rules to uSC, OBC (non creamy layer) and
EWS"candidates who are original inhabitants of Uttar Pradesh. (Domicile of Uttar Pradesh Only).
(II) uSC, ST, OBC,  EWS Category"  of other  states  & OBC (coming  under  'creamy   layer'  of UP.)  may apply as Un-Reserved   Category candidate.
(III) Horizontal  Reservation  of 5% of total vacancy  for "Ex-Servicemen  (EXSM)",  4% of total vacancy for
"Physically  Handicapped  (PH)" will  be provided  to  domicile  of  Uttar  Pradesh  only,  as per existing
UPPCL order.
Note:- As per calculation  based on G.O., there are no vacancies available for Dependent  of Freedom
Fighter  (OFF) candidates  under Horizontal Reservation.
7 -   No  Objection    Certificate:       Candidate  who  are  working  with   any  State  GovUCentral   ~~emi­ GovUGovt.  Undertaking  organization,  shall have to submit 'NOC' from their present  E~p oye  a ~e   time of Joining.                                                                                             .                                      ~

8-   Examination   center  & Selection   Process:    Selection  process  will be base~on~~ter             Based Test only. Computer Based Test (CBT) will preferably be held at Varanasi,  Lucknow,/Agrund        Meerut  cities. Electricity  Service  Commission,   however,  have the  right to  cancel  any of t~e  EXamination  City/Center and/or add some other cities/centers  depending upon the response, administrative   easibility, or any force­ majeure conditions etc. The test shall be of 3-hour duration with total 200.marks  and shall comprise of total
200 questions,  out of which  150 questions  shall be from the Diploma ~e~el Engg. Branch syllabus for the Post  applied,  20  questions   of  General   Knowledge/Awareness~~       questions   of  Reasoning  and  10 questions of General  Hindi. Each  correct  answer  shall  carry  one  mar   each  and  each wrong  answer shall  carry   additional    negative   mark  of  0.25.  Candidates  who  obtain  less  than  30%  marks will  be rejected for further process of selection. The merit list shall be prepjlred  on the basis of the marks obtained in the CBT. Maximum number of candidates to be shortlistecNor:..document verification  will be equal to two times the number of category-wise  vacancies  on the basis of CBT exam merit. Candidates  having equal marks  as  that  of  last  shortlisted   candidate  ~II   also        called  for  document   verification.   Shortlisted candidates who fail to appear for Document Verifig~tion on the scheduled  date & time shall not be given any further chance and their candidature shall b~cancelled.

9-   Trainil'::     The  selected  candidate  has to  undergo  a training  programme,  for  a  period  as decided  by UPPCL  On successful  completion  of the training, the candidate shall be considered  for absorption as per existing rules of UPPCL

10- Transparency:    For the complete  transparency  of the held CBT, the Electricity  Service Commission  shall arrange to display the answer-key  for 3 days on the official website of UPPCL preferably within 03 days of the examination.  The candidate  can lodge their protest against the answer-key   online,  if any, along with proper  proof  within  3 days  from  the  last date  of display,  after  which  objections  of any sort will  not  be entertained.  Objections  without  proper  proof will  not be entertained.  Electricity  Service  Commission  will refer the cases to Subject  Matter  Experts, whose  decision  shall be final.  Candidates  have to download
their Answer  key from  official  website  of  UPPCL using  their login  10  & password  and this shall not be
providebdy ESCy.                                                         

NOTE:·

(a)  Application  Fee cum Processing  charges can be paid through ATM cum  Debit Card/Credit  Card/Net banking OR SBI Bank Challan  Form (Payable at State Bank of India). (b) Bank transaction  charges will be paid extra  by the candidate,  if any. (c) Application  processing  fee,  once paid will neither be refunded/ transferred  nor can be held in reserve for any other future selection process.

12- Character:   The candidate  must produce certificate of good character from the Principal academic  officer or the University, College or Institution in which he was last educated and from two respectable persons of Status (not relations)  who  are well  acuqainted  with  him in his private  life and are unconnected  with his University, College or School.

Note:· Persons dismissed by the Government of India or By State Government  or by U.P. Power

Corporation Ltd. or undertaking will be deemed to be ineligible for appointment.

13- Marital  Status:  A man who has more than one wife living or woman who has married a man having a wife shall not be eligible for appointment  to the service.

Provided that the UPPCL may, if satisfied that there are special grounds for doing so, exempt any person from the operation of the rule.

14- Physical  Fitness:

(I)   No Person shall  be appointed  as a member  of the Service  unless he be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance  of his duties as a member of the Service.

(II)  Before a directly  recruited  candidate  is finally  approved  for appointment  to the Service,  he shall be required to produce a certificate of fitness from the Civil Surgeon of the District of which he is resident or of Lucknow in accordance  with the rules framed under fundamental  rule 10 contained in Chapter III of the  Financial  Hand  Book Volume  II, Part II to  IV, as in force  under  the  State  Government,  until corresponding  Regulations  in this behalf are framed by the UPPCL.

15- How to apply:  Application    Form,  Payment  mode  selection   and other  general  details  are available  at UPPCL official website  www.uppcl.org     Candidates  are advised to Login the website  and select "Apply online" and follow the instructions  carefully given therein step by step, for completing  and submission    of Application    Form.

*  CANDIDATES  ARE  REQUIRED  TO  MAINTAIN  THEIR  UNIQUE  E·MAIL  ID AND  MOBILE  NUMBER THROUGHOUT THE SELECTION  PROCESS.

16- Computer Based test (CBT) for the post will be conducted simultaneously  in all cities. The candidate, who, have completed  and submitted the form, shall be provisionally  allowed to appear in CBT on basis of their particulars  provided  by  him/her  in the  Application  Form  (which  does  not  necessarily  mean  eligibility). Complete particulars  regarding  eligibility will be scrutinized  subsequently.  If at any stage,  it is found that the information  furnished  in the online application  form  is false/fake/misinterpreted/incorrect    or does not satisfy the eligibility  criteria  for the post applied, their  candidature  are liable to be cancelled,  even after appearing in the Examination,  in addition to any other action as may be deemed fit by ESC.

17- Submission   of documents:     All concerned  and relevant original   documents  viz Caste certificate (OBC· NCL  candidates    must   submit   their  caste  certificate    issued   after  31-03-2021),  domicile  certificates (issued  after  31-03-2018),  date of birth certificate, essential Technical  qualification  certificate/ final marks sheet, Apprentice  certificate,  PH certificate,  certificate  of 'Ex- Serviceman  in Armed  Forces of India' shall have to be submitted for verfiaction  alongwith  a self attested copy of each document  on the place, date and time to be decided  by ESC. Failing  to produce  these  qualifying   documents   in person  at the time of checking,   in original  will  result  in conditional   rejection   of the candidature.

19- Jurisdiction:    Any resultant  dispute arising out of this advertisement  shall be subject to the jurisdiction  of the Courts at Lucknow only.

20- Other  important   instructions:     (1) Candidates   having   received   Diploma  through   Distance  Learning Education   Progamme   are Not  Eligible  to  apply  for  the  above  post.  (2) Candidates   having  Diploma received  on the  basis  of length  of service  (without   passing  the  Diploma  examination)   are also  Not Eligible  to apply  for above  post.
